It destroys a lot of the artists creativity in the art shops and makes things a bit difficult to navigate because everything looks the same.

I would have preferred they stick to the original forum formula and stay as true to the desktop version as possible, with the avatars showing and options to Favorite, go to user profiles, etc. Maybe find a way to make it so that users can press and hold onto an avi and then have a navigation pop up.
